bad roads

Last  year  we suffered with chikungunya  and the doctor declared it as viral fever  (the name chikungunya must not be mentioned.  Reason : God only knows) and as it was not controlled by declofenacs we have swallowed lehyams (pastes) kasayams (syrups) of herbals and the pain  gone after six months.  Now in my town all the municipal roads (white roads) are dug for underground drainage system and we are using the four state highway roads (yellow roads).  Now even in that four roads one of the roads is dug with a big hole (star marked)by poclaine by highway people.  Now people are using the municipal roads which are having pot holes, ups, downs, drainage holes and dangerous cuts.   Now my hip ache has returned as side effect and my pillion rider madem is having the back shoulder pain as she is holding the handle tightly in  fear.    Swallowing again all the pastes and syrubs of all the herbals is the only way I think.

Pudukkottai is famous (shall we say “was” here) for its straight streets for 2 to 3 kilometers length each. The town planning was made by Sri Seshayya sastry Governer of the then Pudukkottai Samasthanam under the control of Thondaman Kings.    He has visited Paris and Pondicherry to draw a correct plan.   But the condition is pathetic now.
